Day 4: My Parents

8:00 AM

These two are my dads. The bald one? He's the one who gave me red hair (even though you can't tell in the pictures all that well. But his beard is red!). I spent a huge chunk of my life being a daddy's girl. I have so many great memories with him despite the many bad. He's one of the funniest guys I know! The other guy is my stepdad Jay. He's been in my life for around 16 or 17 years so of course I consider him my other dad. He's treated my nothing less than one of his own. I am his only daughter (he has three boys of his own - not counting my brother), and everyone thinks I'm his favorite! ;) I couldn't have been more blessed with two of the greatest dads and I am so thankful for everything they have done and continue to do for me.

My mom, my rock, my best friend. I am already tearing up thinking about what I could say about this woman. I cannot go a single day without calling her, talking to her, hearing from her. She gives me peace and calmness that nobody else can. She knows exactly what to say, always. She knows me better than I know myself sometimes! There is never a day that passes that she doesn't tell me how proud of me she is and how loved I am. If there is anyone that makes me feel appreciated and on top of the world, it's this beautiful woman right here. There are no amount of words to tell any of you how truly grateful I am to have a mom that makes my world light up, that would do absolutely anything for me. I swear to you, anyone that knows her or has met her instantly loves her. All my friends call her mom and even though I no longer live at home, they all still go see her and talk to her. She's one of the greatest people to ever exist in this world, and she has taught me so much about life. I hope to have a heart as big as hers one day.
