I don't have any extravagant travel experiences. I've spent my entire life living on the West coast, and going back and forth between Oregon, Washing and Alaska. I would love to post beautiful pictures of those three states but since those places are "home" to me, I figured I would do something new. A few months ago, Shae and I took a road trip to Carolina Beach. I know that this is only a couple hour drive away from where we currently live now, but it was a perfect day and it was the first day we touched (and swam) in the Atlantic Ocean! We spent a few hours on the beach running into the warm ocean and riding the waves, had a little picnic on the very crowded beach, and then went and explored the rest of the little town we were in. We played tourist for the day and went into all the little shops, walked the boardwalk and then went and had seafood in honor of having a beach day. We found this little hole in the wall oyster bar and boy, we were both so glad we did. The food was amazing! We got a bucket type deal where we got crab legs, oysters and shrimp and we split it! We both agreed to go back there just to eat at this place again.
